I gave in to my baser instincts and bought yarn. It is yellow. Now I just have to find a pattern I like and make myself a nice spring-y scarf so I can take sunshine with me wherever I go.

...wow, I frightened *myself* right there.

I finished season 6 of West Wing! Yep, the face-punching continued right to the end. Now to start season 7 (I got them for Christmas, so it would be silly not to watch them, I guess), and then I can go back and rewatch earlier-season episodes and remember when everyone was HAPPY. God. And then I'll start Chuck.

I am going to two rock shows this weekend. \o/ That will be excellent. Also exhausting. And I need to remember to do my laundry during the week or I won't have any clothes come next Monday.

Tonight for dinner, there shall be crock-pot lasagna. Wish me luck.

I think you'll like Chuck. It's charming and sweet, both the character and the show. Also,Adam Baldwin is just wonderful as John Casey.

Hurray for up-coming rock shows. I know you've been looking forward to them.

I'm looking forward to trying Chuck. Maybe I'll do that first, actually, and put s7 off a bit.

I really am. It will be a good weekend. :)

Let us know how the crock pot lasagna turns out! I'm too scared to try pasta dishes in mine yet.

I didn't get to it tonight after all, but it's on the docket for tomorrow! I will definitely post about it.

I also found a really interesting recipe for crock-pot macaroni and cheese that I might try one of these days.

Knitting! Tell me what pattern, if any.

And Chuck is love, all the way. <333

how much do I love that yarn is associated with "baser instincts"? <3!

I'm doing a narrow version of this in Manos del Uruguay wool in "straw." This was one of those things where I chose the pattern without really any consideration whatsoever for if it was right for the yarn, but the result is kind of cool and different, so I'm going with it. Will post pictures when it's done!

And I don't really indulge my baser instincts in much, so yarn seems like a good way to go about it. \o/

OOOOH, I've seen that shade! That sounds luscious, it really does. And I love lace in heavier yarn; I think it looks awesome.

Your baser instincts are verrrry interesting. ;)
