Job: good but omg busy. They keep me running all day. Weirdly, being crazy-busy makes me want to write; I have a bunch of notes scribbled throughout my notepad. Including some Dick/Jason ideas; I think I might have found the MacGuffin to tie the thing together. Maybe. I hope. I'm not sure if it's making Jason too emo. Guess it all depends on how it's handled, as ever.

Living situation: good good! My roommate is a saintly person who seems to find Racetrack's more devilish tendencies cute. :D I am trying to be a good roomie as well.

DC: Tricky! Especially the expressways. I went down to Virginia to visit an LJer last weekend, and got hoplessly lost on the way back.

Everything else: Wait, there are other things? I need to sleeeeeep.

I did finish reading Kavalier & Clay, *finally*. Weaving in the actual comic writers and artists at the end there made me smile. I kind of want to write fic, but I'm not sure. Let it percolate some more, maybe.

Um. Is there anything else any of you are interested in me talking about at all? I don't want to bore anybody, but I feel bad about not engaging enough over here. :\

You're still transitioning and adjusting to your move - there's no reason to worry about not engaging us, I swear.

Though if you feel like talking about your writing, whether or not it's the Dick/Jay, I'd love to hear it.

I have a few vague process-notes kicking around, I might try to get them together this weekend. I like talking about writing, but I always end up feeling like I'm...imposing on people, or something. Oh, brain.

I made an outline for Dick/Jay today. I mean, one beyond "And then they are AWESOME!" over and over again.

I never find you boring! I am eager to hear any and all 'Night-thoughts and can't imagine you being boring.

haha, I read "DC: Tricky!" as comics-related. I, too, need SLEEP.

I know what you mean about crazy-busy meaning writing-urges; I always got the strongest need to write, like, *novels* during exam time and similar periods of utter busy-ness and stress. It feels good, though, having the brain fire all cylinders, yes?

DICK/JAY YAY. I don't think there's such a thing as "too emo" for Jason. I mean, as emo as he gets, he'll just...behead some villains or something? <3

<3 Jason does tend to express his emo in highly entertaining ways. Also explosions.

It's this whole wacky thing where I go to work every day and yeah, it's not hugely exciting, but it's also not soul-crushing and making me quake with misery. I think...I think this is called being happy? I'm not entirely sure, but I like it!

Yes, yay! We're making vague noises about trying to have a fannish housewarming get-together in January sometime, hopefully that'll work out.
